BaLa stands for Building as Learning Aid, an innovative concept aimed at improving the quality of education by improving school building infrastructure. KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA, NFR MALIGAON, has put forward great efforts to turn the entire building into a learning aid. The students get to learn various things by just taking a light walk around the whole school. The height chart has been displayed at the entrance of the school building, where all the students may measure their height. Apart from this, the walls teach the students many concepts of the English Language such as Regular and Irregular Verbs, Phrasal Verbs, Plural Nouns, Tenses, and so many other topics have been displayed with the help of wall drawings. It also encapsulates various Mathematical concepts along with numerous scientific terminologies. Not only this, in order to imbibe moral values among the students, there is a template bearing one moral value against every class. This endeavour by the school aims to make the students good and responsible human beings in the first place. The barren spots have been covered with various flash cards displaying various life skills which is the need of the hour these days. Hence, no place in the school is left for imparting intellectual wisdom to the students of the school.
