PM SHRI SCHOOL

PM Shri School is a centrally sponsored scheme launched by the Government of India. It aims to set up more than 14,500 PM Shri Schools which will be overseen by the Central Government, States, Union Territory Governments, local bodies, as well as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The duration of the scheme is from 2022-23 to 2026-27, after which it will be the responsibility of the States, Union Territories to maintain the benchmarks achieved by these schools. The total cost of the project will be Rs 27360 crores over a period of 5 years, including the central share of Rs 18128 crores. PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya has a lot of infrastructure changes in the school.
